    This website is owned and operated by Ryan Tubridy (“me” or “I”).  This privacy statement sets out how your information is gathered and used from your use of this website and how your privacy is protected.  The following policies have also been adopted to safeguard your personal information and to protect your confidentiality.  Any personal data which you provide via this website or otherwise will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 and/or any amending legislation or replacement legislation as may be adopted from time to time in Ireland.

    You are strongly encouraged to read this Privacy Statement before using this website.  If you do not read or if you disagree with any aspect of the Privacy Statement, you should not use this website.  By using this website you are agreeing, and you are signifying your agreement, to be bound by this Privacy Statement.

    Two types of information are collected from your use of the website:

    3.1    Personal Data

    3.2    Non-Personal Data

    Like most websites, statistical and other analytical information is collected on an aggregate basis from all visitors to the website.  This non-personal data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as demographic information regarding, for example, user IP addresses where they have been deleted or anonymised, browser types and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of our website.

    4.1    Personal Data

    Any Personal Data which you provide via this website will be processed for the following purposes:
    (a)    for possible use in the Publication (as defined in the Terms of Use); and
    (b)    to contact you if required in connection with your submission of Content that is uploaded onto the website or to respond to any communications you might send via the website.

    We will not be using users’ personal information for any purpose other than as set in this Privacy Statement or as may be required by law or to protect and defend my rights.

    4.2    Non-Personal Data

    Non-personal data gathered from visitors and registered users of this website in an aggregate form  will be used to get a better understanding of where the website’s visitors come from and to help in the continued design and organisation of the website.

    4.3    Cookies

    This website uses “cookie” technology.  A cookie is a small data file stored by the browser on your computer at the request of our server.  This website uses cookies to deliver content specific to your interests and to save your personal preferences so you do not have to re-enter them each time you connect to the website.   6. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

    You acknowledge that your personal data you submit to us (including your personal data in the Content) may be used in the Publication.  If your personal data is used in the Publication then it will be necessary to disclose your personal data to third parties in connection with (but not limited to) the publishing, marketing, distribution and sale of the Publication.  Save for this disclosure, your personal information is not rented, sold or shared with any other third party.  You acknowledge that your personal information is used to activate your user account and to process your Content that is uploaded onto the website.  In addition, you acknowledge and agree that if the Content that you submit to the Website is used in the Publication, your personal information will be disclosed in the Publication which will be made available on a worldwide basis and by accepting the terms of use when becoming a registered user you are consenting to this disclosure as set out above.
